The Robinhood crypto exchange is seemingly experiencing an outage as of Monday, October 6. At the time of writing, user complaints on the situation had started to indicate at panic on social media.

Downdetector by Ookla has already clocked nearly 900 complaints withing the last few minutes — with the number showing consistent growth by the minute.

While some from the platform’s community are experiencing issues with Robinhood’s web access, the others are complaining about not being able to access the mobile app as well.

As of now, Robinhood has not addressed the situation on social media. The last post from the official handle of the platform (@RobinhoodApp) on X is dated October 3. The handle, that is yet to explain the outage situation, commands a following of 1.2 million.

This year, Robinhood has undergone multiple phases of outage. In June 2025, several of its users, especially from the U.S. had reported service disruptions. During a major stock rally in March as well, the app had glitched for around two days leaving investors infuriated.

Reacting to the ongoing downtime, users have expressed their disappointment on Robinhood’s services, with some threatening lawsuits as well.
