Former X-CEO Linda Yaccarino is now the new head of eMed Population Health, a digital platform that helps with GLP-1 medication, as per an official announcement on Tuesday by the company.
The company said that Yaccarino is expected to help innovate its platform and improve the delivery of its services, citing her experience in managing one of the biggest social media platforms. eMed’s announcement also states that Linda Yaccarino was a Penn State University graduate. Prior to becoming the CEO of X, she was the chairman of global advertising and partnerships at NBCUniversal
“The healthcare industry has been disrupted by technology, but not yet completely transformed by it. There is an opportunity to combine technology, lifestyle, and data in a new powerful way through the digital channels that impact consumers directly in ways that have never been done before,” said Linda Yaccarino in a statement.

In her announcement on X, she thanked Elon Musk for the opportunity to lead the company through such a transformation.
