The Trump Organization, owned by U.S. President Donald Trump and his family, has announced its foray into the telecommunications space by unveiling the Trump mobile or T1 smartphone device. Priced at $499, the T1 comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate. 

According to the Trump Organisation website, the phone will have a ‘sleek gold’ finish and also offer 5G network to customers from coast to coast. The phone is currently available for pre-order in the U.S. through the Trump Mobile website and will be released for retail in August.

At the heart of Trump Mobile is its flagship, ‘The 47 Plan’, which is priced at $47.45 per month. This included unlimited talk time, text, and data, roadside assistance, and even virtual medical care. It will also provide free International calling to more than 100 countries and will allow free long-distance calling for military members and their families.

The launch of the mobile device marks the 10th anniversary of Trump’s Presidential campaign. During the launch, Donald Trump Jr emphasised that the devices will be ‘Made in the USA’ and will put ‘America first’.
