International law firm Addleshaw Goddard has advised RISE Group Holdings Limited on the sale (subject to regulatory approvals) of its sports, culture and entertainment consultancy business to Elevate Sports Ventures, Inc., a global agency network headquartered in the United States.

RISE Group, a leading consultancy business in the sports, culture, and entertainment sectors, has built a strong portfolio across the Middle East, working with prominent regional and international clients. Elevate’s acquisition marks its strategic entry into the MENA market, strengthening its global footprint and expanding its partnership capabilities in a fast-growing region ahead of major global sporting events such as the FIFA World Cup 2034 in Saudi Arabia.

Lowri Llwyd, Partner and Head of Corporate UAE at Addleshaw Goddard, commented: “We are delighted to have supported RISE Group on this transformational transaction. The deal represents a major milestone for both parties and reflects the growing international investment momentum in the MENA sports and entertainment landscape.”

Seth Holmes, Managing Partner at RISE Group Middle East, added: “Addleshaw Goddard brought deep regional expertise and commercial acumen to our sell-side process. Their ability to navigate both Saudi and UAE jurisdictions was instrumental in achieving a smooth and successful transaction.”

The cross-jurisdictional Addleshaw Goddard team advising on the transaction was led by Lowri Llwyd and included Aidan Barry, Lorna Dean, and Rania Sallam (Corporate – UAE); Jasem Alanizy and Nora Al-Henaki (Corporate – KSA); Zoe Fatchen (Tax – London); Rachel Hill and Lucy Melville (Employment); and Tejaswini Gangwal (TST).

This transaction reaffirms Addleshaw Goddard’s position as a trusted advisor on high-profile cross-border deals across the Gulf, particularly in the entertainment, sports, and consultancy sectors.
