A powerful altcoin rally is underway, with Ethereum (ETH) up 20.51% for the week and nearing the $3,350 mark. XRP has broken past $3, while Solana and BNB also post solid gains. The move comes as U.S. spot Ether ETFs recorded $717 million in daily inflows the largest on record signaling renewed institutional confidence.
The altcoin market is heating up fast, and Ethereum is leading the charge. ETH currently trades at $3,346.65, according to CoinMarketCap, boosted by record-breaking ETF demand and accelerating capital rotation into Layer 1 ecosystems.
Record ETF inflows
On Wednesday, U.S. spot Ether ETFs witnessed their largest daily inflow on record, marking a new milestone in institutional demand for Ethereum. BlackRock’s ETHA accounted for the bulk of the movement, with Fidelity’s FETH also seeing significant participation. Together, these funds now hold over 5 million ETH, which is more than 4% of Ethereum’s total circulating supply.
To put it in perspective: in the past 24 hours, Ethereum’s network issued just $6.74 million worth of ETH, while ETF buyers absorbed nearly 107 times that amount. This strong accumulation is accelerating Ethereum’s price momentum and reinforcing the broader altcoin rally.
XRP, Solana, and BNB surge
XRP is also making headlines, trading at $3.08, with a 27.10% gain over the past week and 1.2% on the day. Meanwhile, Solana (SOL) stands at $171.12 (+8.78% weekly), and BNB holds at $707.92 (+5.25% weekly). These coordinated moves reflect rising confidence in Layers and a strong rotation into altcoins.
With Ethereum inflows breaking records and technical levels breached across major tokens, the signals for a full-blown altcoin season are getting stronger by the day.
