Binance is ramping up its contributions in UAE’s web3 budding web3 fabric. This week, the exchange announced a partnership with Ignyte to assist entrepreneurs with growth-accelerating resources.
Ignyte, backed by the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), is a startup accelerator under the oversight of the UAE’s Digital Economy Strategy.
“The collaboration opens new opportunities for startups to access Binance developer tools, tailored learning modules via Binance Academy, and expert mentorship, giving innovators the knowledge and infrastructure to bring groundbreaking ideas to life,” the announcement statement from Binance said.
As part of this initiative, Ignyte and Binance will host a hackathon challenge, with a prize pool of $25,000. The hackathon is slated to wrap up with a demo day for finalists pitch before investors and policymakers.
Startups will also gain access to Binance’s suite of developer tools including APIs as well as on-chain integration tools.
“Through Binance Academy, we will deliver specialized learning modules, technical workshops, and training programs tailored to Web3 development, equipping founders and their teams with essential skills,” the exchange noted.
The partnership also aims to connect the exchange’s expert network with startup founders to help them navigate tokenomics, smart contracts, and go-to-market strategy.
Binance CEO Richard Teng has called the initiative a step towards materializing the next wave of blockchain innovation.
“By providing the right tools and global connectivity, we can empower builders in the MENA region to create solutions with real-world impact,” Teng said.
Ignyte’s ecosystem is estimated to soon grow into a community of 100,000 entrepreneurs.
