Michael Saylor’s Strategy has deepened its commitment to Bitcoin, announcing the purchase of an additional 4,980 BTC valued at over half a billion dollars, as investor confidence and market momentum continue to build.

In a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission dated June 30, Strategy confirmed it had spent approximately $531.1 million on the latest acquisition. The average cost per coin for this purchase stood at $106,801, closely tracking Bitcoin’s steady surge from around $101,000 to over $108,000 during the past week.

Record holdings and strong yield growth

The newly acquired Bitcoin brings Strategy’s total holdings to a staggering 597,325 BTC, accumulated for approximately $42.4 billion. This equates to an average price of $70,982 per coin, making Strategy the largest public holder of Bitcoin globally.

So far in 2025, Strategy has added 85,871 BTC, translating to roughly $9.5 billion in year-to-date gains. This figure represents a strong showing against the company’s full-year 2024 gains of 140,538 BTC worth $13 billion.
