Cryptocurrency exchange Bitget has rolled out an AI trading assistant called GetAgent for all users, as per an announcement by the company on Tuesday. The new tool is an attempt to integrate AI into trading by leveraging artificial intelligence to help create strategies and provide insights.
Bitget’s initial launch of the trading assistant was invite-only
The firm said it first did a soft launch of GetAgent in July, using an invite-only period in which selected users were allowed to use the feature.
The rollout comes at a time when multiple firms in tech, crypto, fintech, and other industries are turning to AI to help boost their offering. Trading platform eToro announced a week ago that it would be developing a suite of AI tools to help improve the investing experience. Similar to the cryptocurrency exchange’s initial approach, e-Toro said it would be rolling out the new features only for vetted traders.
“AI is changing the trading game, and GetAgent is our way of making that power accessible to everyone,” said Bitget CEO Gracy Chen in the official announcement.
