Cryptocurrency firm Bitwise Europe has rolled out four cryptocurrency exchange-traded products (ETPs) on the London Stock Exchange, as per an official announcement.

The update comes as the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) lifted a four-year-long ban on cryptocurrency exchange-traded notes (ETNs). Other companies that have carried out recent ETP listings in the U.K. include 21Shares, BitWise, and WisdomTree.

The exchange-traded products listed by Bitwise are the Bitwise Core Bitcoin ETP, the Bitwise Physical Bitcoin ETP, the Bitwise Ethereum Staking ETP, and the Bitwise Physical Ethereum ETP.

“At Bitwise, we see it as our role to accompany investors on their journey in this dynamic asset class. UK investors can now gain exposure to Bitcoin or Ethereum through products that are fully backed and available via their brokers and tax-advantaged accounts,” said Managing Director for Europe, Bradley Duke.

The FCA continues to approach digital assets as a high-risk investment, cautioning investors not to give their money if they fear losing it. The official announcement also states that while the ETPs will be listed on a regulated exchange, the investment products are not regulated themselves.
