In 2024, Hogan’s social media accounts made multiple posts promoting a Solana-based meme coin called the HULK token. Hogan promptly deleted all of these posts soon after, creating a huge loss for the value of the token.

“Please do not take notice of any posts posted today,” Hogan said on Instagram at the time.

Following the news of his demise, this token also registered a major price rally.

Hogan was known for being a star wrestler in WWE’s lineup when the organization was still in its foundational years. Some of his most popular matches were against Andre the Giant, The Rock, and Randy Savage.

He first joined WWF—now known as WWE—in 1979. After taking a break from the ring in 1981, Hogan rejoined the organization in 1983, emerging as the preferred showman for WrestleMania events during the 80s. Hogan was known for leaving and joining WWE multiple times, transitioning towards making guest appearances towards the end of his career.

He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005.
