The price of the $TRUMP coin surged over 70% on Wednesday, reaching a peak of $16, the highest level since early March, before retracing to below $13, but despite the pullback, the token remained up 43% over the past 24 hours.

The rally followed the release of a promotional banner on the cryptocurrency’s official website, inviting top token holders to an exclusive dinner event with the U.S. President Donald Trump. The banner, titled “Join President Donald J. Trump at his Private, Members-Only Club in Washington, D.C. for Dinner!”, helped drive significant market excitement.

This announcement coincided with the recent release of $300 million worth of previously locked $TRUMP tokens into circulation on April 18, according to Tokenomist data. Despite the unlock, around 75% of all $TRUMP tokens remain locked. The next scheduled unlock is set for July, potentially adding over $600 million worth of tokens to the market.
