The Digital Chamber, touted as the largest Web3 advocacy group internationally, has roped-in top officials from the crypto industry into its advisory board. Binance CEO Richard Teng, Chainlink Labs co-founder Sergey Nazarov, and Anchorage Digital COO Rachel Anderika are among the six new members onboarded on The Digital Chamber’s advisory board.
Founded in 2014, the Washington, D.C.-based group focuses on educating, raising awareness, and advocating for policy requirements around the crypto and blockchain technologies.
At a time when the US is taking active measures to establish a pro-crypto ecosystem, The Digital Chamber plans to bring more distinguished experts from the digital assets sector to work along.
Alongside Teng and Nazarov, The Digital Chamber’s advisory board now also includes the founders of Web3 firms Custodia Bank and WisdomTree, in addition to Lilya Tessler, a partner at Sidley Austin LLP.
“As we enter a critical period for crypto policy, their expertise will strategically guide The Digital Chamber in its mission to advance pragmatic, pro-growth regulation that cements the United States as a global leader in blockchain,” the agency said in its official statement posted on LinkedIn.
Commenting on the development, Teng said it is a “privilege” to be part of the advisory committee.
“I am eager to collaborate closely with my fellow board members to deliver meaningful impact, especially as the industry continues to mature and global regulatory frameworks evolve into more constructive forms,” the Binance honcho noted.
Earlier in March this year, The Digital Chamber released a strategy for the U.S. regulators, outlining urgent focus points for them to address while navigating the legislative landscape around Web3 and cryptocurrencies.
