The UAE government has sent a team of 50 AI experts to the U.S. this week for a ten day initiative. As part of this, these 50 Chief AI Officers are scheduled to visit leading US technology companies to get a better understanding on advanced technologies.
As part of this U.S. visit, the AI delegation will tour the offices and campuses of Google, Meta, OpenAI, Palantir, NVIDIA, IBM, Amazon, and Microsoft.
The Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications Office has announced this initiative in partnership with Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence.

Back in May, U.S. President Donald Trump visited Abu Dhabi. During his visit, he announced the U.S.-UAE AI Acceleration Partnership which includes plans to launch a 56W UAE-U.S. AI Campus.
With this ten day trip to the U.S., the UAE wishes to give a global exposure to its AI experts.
“The programme enables the exchange of expertise, the development of innovative approaches, and the adoption of best practices that will positively impact the quality of government performance and services,” Mohammed bin Taliah, Chief of Government Services of the UAE said, commenting on the matter. Taliah is also heading the UAE delegation.
President Trump has announced deals worth $200 billion during the former’s trip to Abu Dhabi. As part of these deals, Nvidia has been asked to export 500,000 of its most advanced AI chips to the UAE.
The UAE is also prioritizing the upskilling of its students in AI from school-level.
