YZi Labs has incubated over 65 Web3 and crypto starups as of 2025. Owing to the rising number of cyber attacks targeting crypto firms, the Binance-backed startup incubator felt the need to help up and coming projects upgrade their security provisions. To do so, YZi Labs has partnered security intelligence firm, CertiK.
As announced by CertiK on X, its partnership with YZi Labs brings a million dollar audit grant initiative on the table for startups under incubation.
“This partnership supports the next generation of Web3, AI, and biotech startups by embedding security from day one,” the security firm posted.
YZi Labs said such partnerships are essential to curate and support secure innovation in the digital assets industry.
YZi Labs’ EASY Residency incubation Programme is aimed at supporting early-stage projects building on Web3, AI, and Biotech. Builders working on the BNB Chain can access funding requirement from the billion dollar piggybank that YZi Labs had set aside in October 2025.
As part of the CertiK partnerhip, YZi Labs will connect projects in its EASY programme to get hands-on training and understanding of advance security protocols.
Ronghui Gu, the co-founder and CEO of CertiK said the partnership is intended the journey of the Web3 founders.
In 2025, $3.4 billion worth of BTC were stolen via crypto hacks, as per Chainalysis. With attackers getting more sophisticated with their hacks attempts, industry insiders have started to share security tips with the community members on a daily basis. Binance co-CEO Richard Teng is one of them.
