The Audi Revolut F1 Team has announced a multi-year partnership agreement with the digital assets platform Nexo, making it the first-ever digital partner of the racing team.
The move aims to promote the collaboration between the wealth manager’s next-generation digital assets and the motorsport industry on a worldwide level.
The partnership comes at a time when crypto firms like OKX and Crypto.com have heavily invested in F1 sponsorships in order to garner a global audience.
The partnership is also a pivot since the 2026 F1 season will mark Audi’s debut in the racing championship. The high-profile partnership will see the racing giant’s performance-driven mentality combined with Nexo’s growth to become a leading digital asset platform.
Both businesses prioritise innovation, precision, and engineering quality, making the collaboration a perfect fit. Nexo was founded in 2018 and holds over $11 billion in AUM.
What will the partnership include?
As part of the long-term partnership, Nexo will use their premium, digitally focused experiences to engage with fans around the world, providing them with unique interactions, content, education, and brand engagements.
The partnership seeks to put Nexo’s clients and F1 fans in direct contact with Audi Revolut F1 Team, thus underlining the merging of innovative racing and innovative finance. This move seeks to show that both organizations are interested in excellence and innovative approaches.
Stefano Battiston, Chief Commercial Officer of Audi Revolut F1 Team, says, “As we prepare to enter Formula 1, we are highly selective about the partners we bring on this journey. We are proud to welcome Nexo as our official digital asset partner at a moment of strong growth for both organisations.”
He adds, “The partnership reflects a shared ambition to scale with discipline and innovation, and to create tangible value, from exclusive experiences to new ways of engaging our global fanbase and Nexo’s clients.”
Audi-Nexo partnership comes as F1 see rise in crypto sponsorship
Formula 1 is fast becoming a playground for crypto and digital asset partnerships, thanks to its global, tech-savvy fanbase.
Teams are leveraging such collaborations for novel fan interactions, ranging from exclusive content through NFTs to blockchain experiences. Partnerships have been established between Mercedes-AMG Petronas and FTX, McLaren with OKX, while Red Bull Racing has dabbled into similar partnerships, combining speed and technology.
The current relationship between the Audi Revolut F1 Team and Nexo, though, reflects the growing inclusion of the crypto world in the F1 lifestyle. The fan, after all, watches not just the racing, but the associated action, such as the utilization of advanced digital platforms.
