Dubai International Airport is planning to further expand its AI corridor. Located in Terminal 3, the Airport’s latest creation has been described as one of the world’s fastest AI powered immigration corridors and marks a step forward for one of Dubai’s busiest airports.

Dubai Airport’s expansion will assist both arriving and departing passengers

The update comes two weeks after Dubai Airports rolled out the immigration corridor, as per a Gulf News report. The expansions will help to service passengers going through arrival and departure terminals.

Director General of the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, who announced the launch, also announced the planned expansion over the weekend.

The corridor is able to help passengers clear the passport control portion of their travel process and let them pass through in a matter of seconds. The new system is able to process 10 passengers at a time.
