- Binance is touted as the largest crypto exchange in the world by market cap
- For now, neither Musk nor Binance has explicitly spoken about a collaboration
- A clarification from the Binance team on these market whispers remains awaited
The official X handle of Binance playfully engaged with an Elon Musk post about Grok – opened floodgates of partnership speculations on social media. Given a lack of any solid history that connects Binance with Musk or his AI chatbot Grok, this interaction appeared rather unusual – especially at a time with crypto and AI partnerships are making it to the headlines more frequently than ever.
On Wednesday, July 16, Musk reshared a post highlighting Grok’s achievements in international markets, from a follower named Dima Zenuik. The post claimed that the AI chatbot has emerged as the number one app in South Korea, Belgium, Cyprus, Croatia, Canada, Hong Kong, and Japan.
Reposting this Musk wrote, “It only gets better from here @Grok”. Soon after, Musk’s reshare had garnered over 14,000 likes and over 2,400 reshares. From over 2,300 comments that flooded Musk’s post in merely three hours, it was Binance’s reply that managed to grab the spotlight catching the attention of many.
