Meta CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg shared a letter on Wednesday, detailing his thoughts on the future of AI.
This letter comes at a crucial time when multiple AI firms and tech companies are rolling out AI features on their respective platforms in a bid to compete with a fast-developing industry.
“It seems clear that in the coming years, AI will improve all our existing systems and enable the creation and discovery of new things that aren’t imaginable today,” wrote Mark Zuckerberg.
Zuckerberg also laid emphasis on Meta’s role in the future of developing super-intelligence.
“Meta believes strongly in building personal superintelligence that empowers everyone. We have the resources and the expertise to build the massive infrastructure required, and the capability and will to deliver new technology to billions of people across our products. I’m excited to focus Meta’s efforts towards building this future,”
The tech company currently has a research division working towards developing AI tools and now has Meta AI, an AI tool that is similar to ChatGPT, which works with prompts to provide personalized responses to user queries.
