Google will be testing out a new version of Google Finance as part of its continuous effort to add the emerging technology to all parts of its existing software.

As per the official announcement by the company on Friday, Google will be rolling out a new design for users in the U.S. to access, giving them the option to toggle back and forth between the classic version and the upgraded AI version.

Google Finance upgrade to include multiple features

The new integration will include multiple features. The statement says people will be able to ask complex questions about financial-related topics and will be able to get an answer, without having to go and research static information about stocks.

Google Finance will also be adding real-time news and headlines as part of the upgrade. However, the platform already provides updates from multiple news sites.

At the time of reporting, Alphabet shares were priced at $201.92, up by 2.35%.

The rollout comes at a time when major tech companies such as Meta, Apple, and Microsoft are turning to AI to upgrade their existing software and product lines to remain competitive in the market.

As per a Reuters report, Google’s Gemini was recently added as an approved AI vendor as part of the U.S.’s effort to improve AI use by federal agencies.
