Nvidia is planning its next steps into establishing itself in the AI arena in the backdrop of newly forged partnerships in the sector. The chipmaker is reportedly set to launch “NemoClaw” as an open-source AI platform.
Nvidia is presently in the process of introducing this platform to companies that design enterprise-level software. Google, Adobe, Salesforce, Cisco, and CrowdStrike are among software giants being reached out to, CBNC reported on Tuesday citing people familiar with the matter.
Nvidia essentially intends to have software firms use its AI agent to perform tasks on behalf of their employees — implementing the most popular use of AI agents that is increasingly becoming a trend in the Web3 sector.
More details on NemoClaw remain unclear for now.
Nvidia has been ramping up partnerships with AI firms over the past year. It recently made a $10 billion investment in Anthropic and around $30 billion in OpenAI.
The concept of OpenClaw had already caught the eye of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang earlier. OpenClaw offers users with a self-hosted AI agent that can be installed on their devices and directed to perform everyday tasks.
Last week, Jensen called OpenClaw, “the most important software release probably ever.”
For now, elaborate details of Nvidia’s plans with the NemoClaw remain undisclosed. It is likely that the company will discuss its agentic AI plans at its upcoming annual developer conference in San Jose next week.
