Via Transportation raises $493 million in IPO

Tech firm Via Transportation has raised a total of $493 million in its IPO, selling a total of 10.7 million shares at a price point of $46, above its previous range of  $40 to $44 per share. The sale gives Via Transportation a valuation of $3.65 billion, as per a Reuters report. 

The update comes amid an active period for IPO activity after an initial slowdown due to the Trump tariffs, causing firms to postpone their debuts. 

Investor demand has picked up since then, with firms like Klarna, Figma, Circle, Figure, and others putting their shares onto public stock exchanges.

The company will be listing on the New York Stock Exchange on Friday under the stock ticker “VIA”.

Via Transportation was created in 2012. The firm uses intelligent routing to help with public transit systems.
