Web3 gaming infrastructure platform Polemos has officially started generating its own token called the $PLMS utility token. The token generation event (TGE) launched on June 23, 2025, signals a key milestone in the platform’s efforts to incorporate blockchain technology into the gaming industry.
The token will be available on MEXC and Uniswap and is designed to serve as a utility and governance token for the Polemos ecosystem. The official X account of Polemos urged users to buy the token and provided links to where it could be bought on both platforms.
“Whether you’re new to Web3 or a seasoned player, now’s the time to join The Forge, buy PLMS, and help shape what’s coming next,” the X post read. Investing.com reported that the $PLMS IKO on Kommunitas had officially sold out and had managed to raise $250,000 ahead of the $PLMS listing.
Carl Wilgenbus, CEO of Polemos, said that the token would play an integral part in the ecosystem. “This event is aimed at distributing the $PLMS token, which is integral to the functional aspects of our ecosystem. Our objective is to provide infrastructure that supports digital asset ownership and participation within emerging gaming environments,” he added.
Polemos has also announced a strategic partnership with Guinevere Capital, a prominent esports and gaming investment firm. Guinevere has supported projects like GiantX, iTero, Perion, and Skybox, and has worked with popular Web2 gaming titles around the world. The partnership aims to leverage the combined expertise of Polemos.io and Guinevere Capital to enhance and further monetise audiences across publishers, infrastructure players, gaming companies, studios, and platforms, a press release said.
