Solana plans to start shipping its new Seeker model, a phone based in the Web3 ecosystem, on August 4, 2025, the company revealed via a post on X. Solana had announced initial details of the device during its unveiling at the Token2049 conference.

In the thread of posts following the original post, the account talks more about the phone and the underlying architecture backing the model. Specifically, Solana Mobile’s X account discusses the native asset powering the Solana mobile economy, the SKR token, which will enable ownership, economy, and incentives across the ecosystem.

The thread also talks about TEEPIN—or the Trusted Execution Environment Platform Infrastructure Network—a newer type of architecture, and how interested customers can pre-order the phone and confirm their shipping address and taxes. Finally, the post informs that the SKR token is still not live.

Solana debuted in the mobile device ecosystem with the launch of the SAGA in 2022, a flagship Android phone for Web3 that had a 6.67” OLED display, 12 GB RAM, 512 GB storage, and other key features.

Multiple reports suggest that the Solana Seeker will be priced at $450, while pre-orders for the SAGA required a $100 fully refundable deposit, which was to be tacked on to a final expected cost of $1000 as per a company press release.
